May 2013 WWII Re-enactments and Veteran Recognition
We are proud that the Veteran's Recognition and World War Two Re-enactment has come to be part of our annual schedule of events. Photos by Dave Jamroz.
As a recreated battle comes to a close, catpured German troops are rounded up as Prisoners of War.
It's not just the men who served. Our event tells the story of women who stayed home, served at home and served overseas as well.
History books and the History Channel can give a person an overview of a time period, but when you really get close to the uniforms, history and stories, you gain a closer and deeper understanding of the dedication our ancestors had, no matter the decade!
Visitors get a rare treat inside a German vehicle circa 1940.
Re-enactors love to interact with the guests.
