Consideration and Preperation

Projects we are considering and/or preparing for:

• Replacing the decking on the Spanish American Guard House
• Repairing and painting the fence behind the Spanish American Guard House
• Replacing the rest of the Casemate Covers - CASEMATE #3 IN PROGRESS THANKS TO THE 17TH MICHIGAN!!! Have your group financially support the next casemate.
• Repainting the curbs of the Fort grounds yellow
• Removing all the incorrect vegetation in the upper and lower moats of the Star Fort
• Replacing the roof on the Blacksmith Shop
• Installing large wooden shutters on the Blacksmith Shop to protect the contents from the elements.
• Repair and repaint the fence to the Commandant’s House Backyard - DONE BY THE BOY SCOUTS OF AMREICA IN SEPTEMBER, 2007
