 Casemate cover #3 was recently finished in October 2008 and it looks great! Thank you to the volunteers who dedicated their time and skills. Also, thank you to the 17th Michigan Co. E, Inc. for funding the project. Another casemate cover will soon be on its way! |

 Another completed project for 2008 was the restoration of the blacksmith shop inside the star fort. Thank you to all of you who utilized your skills and time to bringing this part of the fort back to life. |

There have been many projects that have had outstanding progress in 2008. Just a few are highlighted below. |

 Just look at those beautiful yellow curbs around the fort and Coalition office building. |

 It is a wonderful sight to be able to look down into one of the inner moats. |
||
 This shows not only the progress of the new casemate cover but also the winning fight against overgrowth. |
